With more than 30 years of experience in steel component manufacturing, fabrication, and erection, this contractor delivers nationwide solutions for the metal roofing and self-storage sectors. Licensed in Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana, he has supervised the design and construction of over 100 million square feet of self-storage facilities across the United States and Western Europe (approximately 9.29 million m²). He maintains a broad network of steel-erection teams available throughout the U.S. and also operates as a partner and owner in self-storage ventures.

His specialties include mezzanine floor systems for converting existing buildings to storage use, retrofitting exteriors and roofs with metal panel systems, and the design and installation of steel-framed structures and metal roofing for both new and existing buildings. This end-to-end capability, from manufacturing through installation, underpins a consistent record of durable, code-compliant results.

With over 25 years of hands-on experience in the self-storage and pre-engineered metal building industry, Eddie Alves brings unmatched expertise and dedication to every project. Having worked with a wide range of systems and manufacturers across the United States, Eddie has built a strong reputation for quality, precision, and leadership on complex self-storage construction projects. Throughout his career, Eddie has led teams responsible for erecting pre-engineered steel buildings, helping managing every phase of field operations—from foundation layout to final detail—ensuring that each structure meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship. Known for his commitment to excellence and hands-on approach, Eddie takes pride in mentoring crews, solving challenges in the field, and delivering projects on time and within budget. His deep understanding of design, construction methods, and client needs makes him a vital partner in 3D Metalcraft’s success. Eddie has been with 3D Metalcraft since the first project and today, as a partner, Eddie continues to drive the company’s mission of building durable, functional, and innovative self-storage facilities that stand the test of time.
